Last April, Brazil Production Services partnered up with the dutch company Media Monks to produce a campaign for Uber. A film about the heartwarming stories shared between Uber drivers and their passengers. A sensitive film about human connections and true moments that bring people closer to each other.
Their idea was to make the drivers the stars of the videos and appreciate and recognize the job they do. They did bits in many countries around the world, focusing on diversity. When it was time for them to film in Brazil, they contacted us to make it happen!
Our team at BPS put our heads together to supply all their production needs. We started the project casting real Uber drivers in São Paulo. We had to find people that love driving around sharing moments and experiences with their Uber passengers. We had a lot of applicants and gave our clients many options so they could choose who would be in the movie.
BPS made all the arrangements so the Netherlands crew would feel comfortable and safe shooting in Brazil. We explained to them all the requirements for foreign productions in Brazil, put together a bilingual crew of trustworthy professionals in São Paulo and made it happen! We also sourced out and rented all the equipment required for both shooting days.
A last minute requirement was having a special license plate made for the film. The clients wanted a real looking plate, but with specific numbers and letters. Our team quickly found a place that could make the prop for us.
The crew filmed all around the city of São Paulo – Vila Madalena, Pinheiros, Rua Augusta, Alto de Pinheiros e Vila Olímpia. Both days went well and we got great feedback from the Media Monks team:
“Thank you so much for all your help and all your hard work. Truly appreciate it!”
Another great BPS shoot in the bag! Check out how the video came out below:
